Shipping Policy  

Our despatch policy ensures that orders received before 3.00pm (Mon-Fri) will be processed & despatched next day. Despatch method dependant on the weight of the product:

  1. Items (under 5Kg) will dispatched by Royal Mail Second Class 3-5 working days (Mon-Fri). If you are not in to receive your order, you will be carded and can collect from your local depot.
  2. Items (5-25Kg) will be dispatched by Business Post 2 to 5 day courier (Mon-Fri, 9.00-17.30). If you are not in to accept delivery, you will be carded and can arrange one further delivery (free of charge) or collect from the local depot.
  3. Items (over 35Kg) will be dispatched by dedicated courier 3-5 working days (Mon-Fri). The courier will call you to confirm the day before delivery.
  4. However, due to the fragile nature of aquariums, we ask you to inspect your goods for damage or breakage on delivery prior signing and accepting the delivery.
    Please make sure you are in when the aquarium is delivered, cut open the wrapping and inspect the tank and check the packing of cabinet etc. for damage.
    In the unlikely event of damage in transit, you must refuse the delivery and inform us immediately by phone or email. We can only accept claims for replacement or refund under these terms.
     

    For larger items, please ensure there are at least two people to receive the delivery, as the aquarium and cabinet need to be manually handled into your house.

    Aquarium orders requiring delivery to Scotland, Wales, Devon and Cornwall will be charged at £25.00 and to the Highlands and Ireland a charge of £45.00 will be added, due to the additional charges made by carriers.

    The estimated delivery times shown are an indication only.

  5. When products are in stock, we aim to process and despatch all orders quickly. However, if any items are not in stock, delivery may be delayed. Please therefore allow up to 14 days. We aim to keep you informed via email of the progress of your order. If you require an update at any stage please contact us via email at anytime.

Returns Policy

In the unlikely event of any returns issues our procedure is as follows:

  1. Before returning any item to us, you must first contact us by phone or email within 24 hours quoting the order / invoice number, product description, date of purchase and reason for return.
  2. For products found faulty or damaged on arrival, dependant on the product, we will do one of the following:
         a. Smaller products - ask you to return the item to us in the original packaging. We will inspect and replace or refund on receipt of the faulty item.
         b. Larger items:
              i.You must arrange delivery (item must be returned in its original packaging). OR:
              ii. We may ask you to send a digital photo if possible (either by text or email).
              iii. We will replace or refund on inspection & completion of stages (i) or(ii).
  3. Warranty Claims
    For problems or defects that develop within the warranty period (which can be claimed under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty), please contact us by phone or email quoting the order / invoice number, product description, date of purchase. Depending on the nature of the problem, it may be necessary for us to ask you to return the product to us under the terms of the warranty. If this is necessary, the cost of return will be at your expense. The replacement product will be sent to you at our expense.

    With regard to aquarium seals, the manufacturers warranty will be invalidated if the aquarium is moved with water in it. The manufacturer's warranty may also be invalidated if:

    a. The aquarium is not used with the manufacturer's cabinet / stand that is intended for the aquarium.

    b. Larger aquariums (above 300L) are not standing on a concrete floor. Please seek professional advice regarding the strength of floor required to provide safe and stable support for the weight of theses aquariums.

Ibstock Aquatics is not responsible or liable to any person or entity whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, damage (whether actual, consequential, punitive, special, or otherwise), injury, claim, liability or other cause of any kind or character whatsoever based upon or resulting from any information or opinions provided on the website or from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on the site. You specifically agree that Twycross Aquatics is not liable for any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any user. If you are dissatisfied with the website or any materials on the site, or with any of the Terms of Use, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the site.

    Termination
    These Terms of Use constitute an agreement which is effective until terminated by Ibstock Aquatics, at any time, without notice. we may terminate your right to use this site immediately, without notice to you if, in our sole discretion, you fail to comply with any of these Terms of Use. In the event of termination, you are no longer authorized to access the website, and the restrictions imposed upon you with respect to material copied or downloaded, and the disclaimers and limitations of liabilities set forth in these Terms of Use, shall survive the termination of this agreement. These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Ibstock Aquatics relating to the subject matter addressed herein.
